Time Points / Temps Long / Compact Disc

$12.00

Time Points is the collaborative project of French composers Arnaud Denzler (member of AT and "La Claque") and Michaël Laidet (αίών). After a decade of collaboration, they present their first EP, Temps Long, a four-track release, with remixes by Karim Kahar and Zwei Kreise.

The creation of Temps Long spanned six years, with the duo’s intermittent collaboration shaping the final product. Each track reflects multiple iterations, enriching the sonic depth and diversity. The project emphasizes the importance of collaboration, with Kahar playing a significant role beyond his initial mixing duties, offering a deconstruction of the duo’s sound. Zwei Kreise, inspired by Finnish artist Mika Vainio, honored Vainio’s influence in his remix of "10 a.m.," creating a spectral soundscape reminiscent of Vainio’s work with Popol Vuh for the Cobra Verde soundtrack.

Temps Long is a journey of exploration, where Time Points' evolving creative process and collaborative contributions culminate in a unique and layered musical experience.
